ELIGIBILITY: The promotion is open to all individuals, 21 years of age or older, except where prohibited by law. Employees, officers and directors, agents of the sponsor and family members of each of the above are not eligible to participate. The promotion is subject to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. By submitting an entry, you state that you are the creator of the entry; the entry is original (with the exception of a name of an ingredient should it be a brand name); the entry does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party, and does not defame any person.
HOW TO ENTER: Visit the promotion entry page at StartWithStoli.com, read the coursework and submit your entry fulfilling the current Cocktail Recipe Challenge. Provide your original cocktail recipe according to the Recipe Guidelines (below) along with a photo of your finished cocktail. Include your first and last name, professional affiliation, e-mail address and other required entry information. Confirm that you have read and agree to the official rules. The promotion is quarterly.
1. All recipes must be the original and sole creation of the entrant.
2. Ingredients may include widely available proprietary products, produce and commonly found bar products. Homemade ingredients are acceptable if recipe for them is also provided.
3. For each recipe, list all ingredients in order of usage, indicating standard U.S. or metric measurements for each (see below), followed by preparation and presentation instructions.
4. Recipes may be expressed in parts, jiggers, ounces or mls; use of dashes and/or drops for minor ingredients is also acceptable.
5. Recipes must contain a minimum of 30ml (1oz) of Stolichnaya® vodka. The total combined alcoholic ingredients must be equivalent to no more than 100ml (3.5 oz) at 40%abv.
6. Cocktails may be presented in any shape of glass, cup or other hygienic and safe receptacle.
Note: Drink names including rude, lurid, sexual or otherwise offensive language, as well as those that suggest or promote illegal behavior, are strictly prohibited. Entries considered by M. Shanken Communications, Inc. ("the organizer") to be promoting irresponsible drinking will be omitted. The organizer further reserves the right to decline or disqualify any entry for any reason, including, but not limited to, incomplete information, inappropriate language, failure to use the sponsoring brand or apparent lack of originality.
JUDGING: Judging will be conducted by an expert panel appointed by the organizers. Entries will be judged according to the their ability to satisfy the "Recipe Challenge".

DREAM LIBRARY TERMS AND CONDITIONS: A library of 50 of the world's best books on cocktails will be awarded quarterly by M. Shanken Communication Inc.'s expert panel, based on the quality of submissions. Dream Library subject to availability. The organizer reserves the right to make eliminations or substitutions. The decision of the judges is final. The Library may not be redeemed for cash. Recipients will be notified by email.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsor and affiliates are not responsible for any inaccurate information, whether caused by you, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with the promotion; technical failures of any kind; lost, late, damaged, delayed, destroyed, misdirected, incomplete, illegible entries; technical or human errors occurring in the administration of the promotion or the processing of entries.
USE OF ENTRY: By submitting an entry, you grant the sponsor and its affiliates permission to copyright, reproduce, encode, store, copy, transmit, publish, post, broadcast, display, publicly perform, adapt, modify, create derivative works of, exhibit, and otherwise use the entry in any media without additional review, compensation or approval.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: The sponsor will collect personal information from promotion participants for use by the sponsor in connection with the conduct of the promotion.
RELEASE: Participants in the promotion waive the right to any claims (damages, liabilities, costs, attorneys' fees, expenses, and causes of action) against the sponsor or its affiliates. This waiver includes but is not limited to claims of trademark or copyright infringement asserted by any third party. This release survives the expiration of the promotion.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in the Promotion constitutes participant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the official rules and the decisions of sponsor.
